The price for the survey and issue of an EPC and/or floor plan depends on the type of property and number of bedrooms.
These prices are not currently subject to VAT. Rates for properties or services not covered here are available on request.
Terms and Conditions for Property Visits and Energy Assessments
Payment will be taken on booking of an appointment, or at the property using a card machine. We accept all major debit and credit cards (unfortunately we cannot accept American Express). We do not charge for debit card transactions, but there will be a 3% charge on credit card payments.
If the completion of a report is impossible or impractical for reasons beyond Mill Energy's control, it may be necessary to arrange another appointment. We reserve the right to charge for the original appointment on a pro rata basis. No visit or inspection can be undertaken where only a young person (under the age of 16) is left in charge.
We will exercise our statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if we are not paid according to our indicated credit terms. Interest will be charged at 4% over Nat West base rate from the date of the invoice reminder, until paid. The actual debt recovery costs will be added.
The Directors and Staff of Mill Energy are obligated to declare any conflict of interest and/or financial relationships with others involved in the transaction or commissioning of the report.
An EPC is not valid until it has been allocated a report reference number. Mill Energy cannot be held responsible for the consequences of any delays over which it has no control.
In the unlikely event of a dispute regarding the services provided, a Complaint Handling Procedure is available on request.
