Powerboss Eluma is an intelligent light unit, which has been designed specifically for use in warehousing, factories and large retail outlets with a ceiling height of between 6m and 16m.

When replacing traditional lighting it always achieves a 50% energy saving and commonly up to 70% - 80% saving, whilst delivering a significant improvement in light quality.

The Powerboss Eluma is an ideal replacement for conventional lighting fixtures such as high-pressure sodium, metal halide and fluorescent  tube fixings.

The Powerboss Eluma range reduces glare often caused by the more traditional lighting methods, thus preventing forklift drivers, for example, becoming dazzled when looking up into racks.

They also provide a flicker-free environment without the strobing often associated with the more traditional lighting fixtures thus making a more comfortable environment for employees.

This will either turn off the lights after a set time if no-one is present or dim them to a pre-determined level.  Since there is no delay in strike time, the lights will turn on immediately once there is movement within 16metres.

This also acts as a security measure, for example, a security guard will know if anyone is present as the lights will turn on when they sense movement.

Unintelligent luminaires will generate light regardless of any ambient daylight. The Powerboss Eluma range will only generate the light required to meet the pre-programmed level.

In addition to energy saving, the cost of maintenence will be reduced as the lamp life is 20,000 hours compared to approximately 8,000 for other light systems.
